Refresher / Re-qualification:

As we all know, if we do not use a skill we can lose the ability to use it. To prevent ‘Skill Fade’, the HSE strongly advises that each candidate attends a yearly refresher course (4 hours). To re-qualify as a First Aider in the work place individuals will be required to complete a 2 day First Aid at Work (re-qualification) course on the anniversary of their certificate expiry date every 3 years; an exemption to extend this by 28 days is permissible. As part of the after care service, First Aid Medic will notify your company/persons approximately one month prior of the expiry date for those delegates requiring re-qualification.
